Halloween Fun on Halsted!
 The
Chicago Spirit Brigade will make its final appearance of the
2009 season at the annual North Halsted Street Halloween Parade on
Saturday, October 31. The revelry begins at 6:00pm when the Parade
steps out from Belmont and Halsted, winding north up to Brompton and
returning south to Roscoe.
Be sure to join us at about 7:00pm at the Parade's finish in the 7-11
Parking Lot at the corner of Halsted & Roscoe. Awards, fun and
live entertainment will feature a spirited performance by the
cheerleaders, dance and drill teams of CSB!

CAN... Help Raise Money for FCAN!
Our designated
beneficiary for the Halloween Parade is the Families'
and Children's AIDS Network, a leader in innovative
programs that support HIV-affected families by
offering free, in-home clinical and legal services and
semi-annual retreats for families all across Illinois.
Enjoy the parade.
Thrill to our performance. And make a donation in
our Spirit Buckets... 100% of the money we
raise goes directly to FCAN!
Thanks to your
support, it's been a great year for CSB and we're on
track to set an annual fundraising record of
$10,000! So far this year, we've raised $8,958 - all of which
has been donated to TPAN, the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and Susan G.
Komen for the Cure.
On Halloween, EVERY
dollar counts as we aim to raise at least $1,042 for
the Families' & Children's AIDS Network.
So please join the Halloween fun on Halsted and help us reach our
$10,000 annual goal!

family retreats, we encourage you to check out their Red
Ribbon Trails program.

CSB is looking
for Auxiliary Members!
We're always in need of
a few good men and women. Join the Chicago Spirit Brigade as an
Auxiliary Member and march with us in the Halloween Parade!
Members are needed
to carry signs and help us along the Parade Route to collect donations
for FCAN. It can be a rather - shall we say - spirited
crowd... So big voices and lots of energy are the only
requirements!

Special
Thanks to Skyline Gymnastics!
A special "Thank
You" to Dianne Durham and the team at Skyline Gymnastics for making
their gym available to CSB at a special rate. Earlier this month, the
cheerleaders gathered there for a 4-hour workshop, trying new stunts
and pyramids in anticipation of a brand-new 2010 routine.
